Hello Patrick. Glad you are living your dream. I’d like to suggest, if nobody mentioned it, that when possible install another waste tank. The toilet and sink/shower waste water should be separated. To break down solid human waste and deodorize, a toilet chemical needs to be used. It can be purchased at Walmart or any camper supply store. Just pour the required amount of chemical per your size of tank into the toilet and open the flush valve allowing it and about a gallon of fresh water to drain into the tank to mix with it. This will prepare the tank to handle waste somewhat like a home septic system. Plan on replacing some electric appliances with propane like the stove, water heater and fridge. No need for electric hookups to use these appliances. Good luck.

Thank you so much for your reply. After doing the research, we realized we wouldn’t need to have a separate tank for gray and black water. I use the blue juice from RV stores in the 32 gallon tank, and a homemade solution that is less expensive and just as good. I’ve had no issues. It all gets dumped into the same tank/container at Dumping stations regardless. We had thought about propane, but we decided against it. Id rather not deal with pilot lights and gas leaks and all that jazz. I am getting more solar panels and batteries to solve the issue of not having enough power. All very solid points you made.
      Make it a great day!
